Day 10: Interesting Information

I may have gotten an answer about why Claudia and I are treated differently.

I heard from my sources on the staff that the owner has been married three times… the third time to a volunteer. Plus, he had an affair with an 18-year-old volunteer a couple years ago (he must be around 60). But the last time there was a volunteer Claudia’s age, she had to leave early because she was treated so poorly. So there may be a preference given to volunteers who are younger. But this is just a guess.

Anyway, another day marked off… Here are some things I am learning:
  • Holding a serving tray is really good for the upper back muscles.
  • When a four year old coughs in your face for five days straight, you WILL catch what she has.
  • Eating meat helps you lose weight.
  • Even hardened country mechanics play computer games.
  • Hippos are the fourth largest mammal in the world, behind whales, elephants, and white rhinos.
  • In a pinch, an iPhone makes a fine torch (aka: flashlight).
Eighteen days left. If Martha Stewart can do it, I hope I can, too…
